Based on the previously established hardware and design plans, final functional prototypes were being developed in this phase of the project, and the embedded software was being produced. At this phase, any redesigning was possible, inasmuch as functional problems come to the fore calling for it. Endpoint devices and protocols were being tested, and the documentation prepared.
