Based on the previously established hardware and design plans, final functional prototypes are being developed in this phase of the project, and the embedded software is being produced. At this phase, any redesigning is possible, inasmuch as functional problems come to the fore calling for it. Endpoint devices and protocols are being tested, and the documentation prepared.
