Founded by Antal Illés in 1989, HUMANsoft Kft. has developed an overall information technology product and services portfolio by today. The high-standard services and quality solutions provided by the company made it a prestigious player in the domestic market.

In the end of October 2007 100% of the company has been acquired by FresSoft Plc., thereby HUMANsoft became part of a bigger group of companies that provides complex IT solutions and services with about 300 employees currently, and is a significant player on the Budapest stock exchange with more than 10 billion HUF annual income.

The company is active in the fields of application development, implementation of enterprise resource planning, management information systems, integration of miscellaneous applications, system integration, network development and operation, and IT security solutions. In recent years the firm was selected as general contractor of several large-scale IT projects accomplished with EU support in the fields of e-public administration and healthcare. HUMANsoft Kft. has been a distributor of DELL products since 1991, one of the world’s leading computer manufacturers. In addition to DELL, the firm works together with other significant manufacturing partners and leading technology companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Symantec, CA, Fujitsu-Siemens, VMware and NetApp. The firm’s quality assurance system is certified by ISO 9001:2000, while its information technology security system is certified by ISO 27001-ISMS.

The HRC was established in 2005 as a research and development division of the company. The main objective of the HRC - besides providing high level and quality IT products and services - is to develop serious, professional R & D cooperation with national and international knowledge-based institutions in order to support the economical aims and market position of the company.

We continuously investigate new methods in the fields of IT, project management, and educational methodologies, while also working on developing ways to implement the theoretical models in practice. IT supported R&D solutions in Healthcare is a high priority area for us.

The HRC has a significant role in knowledge synthesis and involvement of young or international researchers in R & D projects, in order to ensure the synergy of up-to-date knowledge and best practice.
